The Life
Looking for nutritious and delicious farm fresh meat? Our livestock are living their best lives. Plenty of sunshine, grass, and space to roam. Our cows enjoy approximately 90 acres across two different locations which access to natural spring water and plenty of sunshine and shade. Our pigs have a different dream. They LOVE their home in the woods with a freshwater creek, mud and sunshine. They spend their days. rooting, eating, napping and socializing.
The Pigs
Our pigs are born here, stay with their mamas until they are ready to join the herd, then live happily with their friends. Our pigs are a cross of our Old Spot Sows and our Duroc Boar. We find this combination makes for the perfect pig - Size, Temperament and Meat Quality.
The Cows
Wonder where our name came from? Right here. We raise Pineywood and Florida Cracker Cattle. These heritage cattle brought to America by Spanish explorers in the early 1500's and ran wild for close to 400 years. These girls have a quiet, sweet disposition, are amazing mothers and thrive on natural grasses. These cattle are tri-purpose - Meat: - a gently marbled, delicious meat. Milk: Often A2A2, rich milk and Draft: Despite their medium build, these cows are STRONG! We are proud to support heritage cattle with our breeding program!
